Lady Gaga's Viva Glam Inspired Pink Lips

Yeah, I know, I'm loving the latest MAC's Viva Glam collection featuring Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper too. I'm not gonna do a review on the lip products, as they're not available in Penang yet :( but this is an inspired post.

This is the pink lips I wore with purplish eye makeup (again! now i'm getting bored) X_X

It's a really striking colour in person but looks washed out in this pic :( Anyways, don't you just love bold pink lips? Spice up your makeup once in a while :D

We went flying kite by the beach on that night. It was fun and nostalgic, since we haven't been doing something outdoor for the longest time ever since we started working.

5 Minutes Eye Makeup Tips

I have learnt a valuable makeup lesson from Queen talk show a few weeks ago. These makeup tips are useful for working professional women who goes to work early and have little time to makeup unless you wanna wake up two-three hours before work. I not that type of person who can wake up so early lol :P





This look is neutral and suitable for work. Here's a short tutorial on how to create this simple look using items as below:

Eyes

Majolica Majorca Majolook Palette

Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus Mascara

MAC Black Russian Pearlglide Eye Liner

Face

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light Medium

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Triple Fusion

ELF Studio Blush and Bronzing Powder

Red Earth Brow Pencil

Lip

1. Use the narrow sponge tip to sweep the dark brown color (A) close to the eyelashes. I am applying the darkest color first instead of starting off with a lightest color.

2. Use the broad sponge tip to apply dark grey color (B) on the outer half of the lid.

3. Next, dab some gold color (C) to the inner half of lid. Blend the two colors together.

4. Brighten the inner corner of the eyes with light shimmery pink color (D).

5. Rim the lashline with black eyeliner (you can opt for brown eyeliner for a more natural look).

6. Apply mascara to the lashes and you're done! :)

This method works for single eyelids too, just apply the color (A) higher till you can almost see a bit of the color when you open your eyes. For double lids, you can apply up to your crease will do.

Hope this tutorial helps! No more excuse for no makeup to work anymore :P

New Bags for New Year

I was too weak to control myself from hauling nowadays! But actually, I haven't been buying bags for such a long time since i have been addicted to makeups. So in order to make up for my lack of bag collections, I decided to bag more XD

Simple FOTD with Urban Decay's Book of Shadows II

I promised tons of FOTDs with this Book of Shadows. There's just so many combination of colors you can manipulate to create many different looks. Let's just start simple with this first FOTD :)

Let me just start with something simple and easy to achieve first. A look you can simply wear for an outing with girlfriends, a shopping trip etc...To match my outfit of the day, which is blue in color, I wore a faint/soft blue eye makeup which consists of the following shades:

• Sellout
• Sphynx
• Jinx
• AC/DC

After applying eyeshadow primer (UDPP), I used Sellout as a base, all over lid colour, at the middle of the lid, add Sphynx and followed by Jinx at the end of lid. Add AC/DC at the crease to intensify the color and to add depth to the eye. Tightline the inner lashline with MAC's Feline Kohl Power Eye Pencil (extremely black eyeliner). Mascara is a must in every eye makeup and in this case I used the Majolica Majorca's Lash Expander Frame Plus.
