NYX Hauls + Others

I can feel my blog molding already due to lack of posts!!! But no worries, I have pretty much a lot of stuffs to update since I have been away for some time (away from my PC i mean ;P)

The parcel I was waiting for so long has finally arrived. It carried my first ever NYX goodies. These goodies are famous for being cheap and good :D I guess their most famous products are their lipsticks which comes in multiple shades from nude peach to nude pink to hot pink to hot red. They are also famous for being MAC eyeshadow dupes. Bla bla bla, the list goes on and on about their goodies.

Let's see what I have here... Tadaa...

Just a mini haul

Lipsticks in Narcissus and Louisiana

Glitter Eyeliner in Disco Ball

Black Liquid Eyeliner

I also have their swatches. These lippies are hot pink colours. What I love about NYX lippies is that they are very true to their colours when applied on lip. But what I don't like is their smell. I'll show you what I mean later :D

Clockwise: Black Liquid Eyeliner, Disco Ball, Louisiana and Narcissus

I personally only dares to wear Narcissus out because Louisiana is too pigmented! That's why I mix them both together to get a lighter color although I still can't accept the outcome :P

Mixture of Louisiana and Narcissus

With only Narcissus

Also, something I have not mentioned, I've purchased the E.L.F. Studio Line Blush and Bronzing Powder! Retailing at $3 it is definitely a great deal! Also a famous dupe of NARS Orgasm/Laguna.

Love the colors? I heart them!

They are quite pigmented considering it being this cheap. I used them in my previous Mysterious Blue FOTD.

Another something new! A makeup bag (gift from my bf's sista) :D

It is a hot red one with two compartments, enough to store my babies. One part for my NYX babies and the others for my MAC babies. This makes a great travelling companion, an easy storage for all the makeup necessities in your bag.

Here's my NYX babies posing in their new home, lovely?

And finally, my new toy! The one I have been lemming for not so long ago :) Presenting to you, the new Panasonic Lumix FS15!!! You can check on the internet for the specs :P

Now that I have this, I can camwhore more effeciently, hehe...

Luxe vs. Less Skin Care

Find out what products to splurge on and when to save your hard-earned dollars

Luxe vs. Less Skin Care

You don't have to spend half your paycheck on skincare products to stay wrinkle and pimple-free. That said, slathering household condiments on your face to avoid paying for the good stuff isn't necessary either. Dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban and P&G scientist Mary Begovic Johnson helped us compare products with similar ingredients that are very different in cost. Here's what we found.

FOTD: Mysterious Blue

I so loved Fuz's work with her Blue palettes that I was inspired to remake them. Me, equipped with my Kate Deep Eyes Palette (which I adores very much!) came out with this look. This is the same look that I did which I have shown you ladies as a teaser in one of my previous post. I apologized for the long delayed FOTD :P

Again, shimmery eye colors are very "IN" this Spring and Japanese makeups are usually famous for their shimmer eyeshadow palettes.

Materials used:

Face
Maybelline Perfect Concealer
Maybelline Clear Smooth Face Powder
ELF Bronzing and Blush Powder
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Blonde

Eyes
Red Earth Brow Liner
SilkyGirl Eyeliner in Black
Maybelline Volum' Express Mascara
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Kate Deep Eyes Palette in Blue

Lip
MAC Shy Girl Lipstick
MAC Lipglass in Boy Bait
Mentholatum Lip Balm

This time I did it without the falsies. I really need to get some more falsies other than what I have now to create different looks every time.

I paired this eye color with peachy lip color from MAC Cremeteam collection, Shy Girl lipstick and Boy Bait lipglass. Both of them looks so great together!

Just Shy Girl alone...

Shy Girl again, she looks lonely here...

Shy Girl with Boy Bait, what a good match!

Very creamy and smooth, cremeteam collection lippies are my loves!

This look is pretty dramatic because I wore it for a nite out with my baby's buddies and I felt it was a bit inappropriate. It looks weird to be the only girl in the group and wearing such heavy makeup but whatever, I already put so much effort in perfecting so I'm not gonna clean it off! It's just for the sake of experimenting new colors.

The overall look... ^-^

nope, that's not my name on the wall...

At last you can see my lashes >.<

I'm having one of the bad hair day and I think that a disadvantage as I have is that I have a high forehead. With my kind of hairstyle, if they are not styled properly (meaning with volume), it may cause it to look worse which is sad :(

I have not had enough of camwhoring myself that I dragged my baby in with me. And I always look so fair beside him hehe...

He didn't want to steal my limelight he says... ++|||

I have to show you girls my heart earrings, they're gorgeous! Too bad Diva has left Queensbay, I'm gonna miss the store =(
