Vivi Magazine February Issue

Japanese magazines usually comes a month or two early, probably to prepare the readers for any change of trends. This February issue is evolving towards spring styles. The models are using bronzers to make their skin sun baked for spring.

Wedding Dinner's FOTDs

I attended two weddings over the weekend. Very exhausting I would say, but it was fun prettying up yourself for dinner :)

For the first wedding, the colour code for the guests were black, white or pink. Well, I wore a black floral dress that sort of fits into the theme. Anyways, I matched the blacked dress with dark greyish smokey eyes. The wedding reception was small and the venue was a romantic setting with ribbons and cupcakes. Lovely!

So, for the next wedding, with no theme, I just paired my eye makeup with whichever dress I wear for the dinner. I selected a cute baby doll lacey purple dress and went with a purple smokey makeup.

I really love my contact lens color! I'll wear them wherever I go right now. They're from the Geo lenses collection in code YH-305 (Grey). I'll update on where I get them in another post ya...stay tuned!

Hauls of New Year

New Year usually marks new beginning for most people. Well, New Year means purchasing new stuffs to start the new year afresh for Chinese(that's for Chinese New Year though, and it applies to cosmetics too!). Some of my friend's new year resolution is to become prettier, change hair style, change fashion style and anything that applies to becoming a better self, hehe...

Back to my hauls, I have been wanting to show off my new Urban Decay Book of Shadows II for the longest time. Brought back from US just a few days ago, I have been admiring it endlessly. The colours are all wearable and very pigmented, there are a wide variety of colours; from neutrals to smokey, warm tones to cool tones...most of all they come with two mini 24/7 eyeliners in zero and bourbon! The travel size UDPP is a plus. The large mirror comes in handy too :)

Warm & Cozy just hit Penang shores recently. I was disappointed to know that there are many missing items on the counter. The tinted lip conditioners which I wanted badly was not there. But the must have from the collection is 2N lipglass, a repromote from the previous N collection. I'm still thinking of whether to get myself Siss and Warm Me Up lippies. They're are so lovely!
