I purchased this together with my Clinique's All About Eyes Rich eye cream. I loved the Clinique's All About Eyes eye cream which I used previously so I decided to purchase the Rich version of the eye cream.
A new refreshing eye treatment that provides an immediate boost of intense moisture to eye area skin. The pre-moistened rayon eye sheets come with highly efficacious oil-free lotion.
This intensely hydrating formula contains special aloe-activated water and osmotic technology to increase hydration while helping skin maintain optimal moisture balance.
This is how it looks like in the package. Each package contains a soft, thin pair of eye mask. The sheet is probably thinner than a piece of paper.
It's not what I expected it to be because previously when I used The Face Shop's Eye Patch the patch was much thicker in soft gel film form and feels like it contained more serum. Nevertheless let's give it a try first.
The usage instruction can be viewed at the back of package (let me just rephrase here):
Remove pre-moistened pads from packet and separate from plastic divider. Apply to clean under-eye skin. Rest for 10 minutes, then remove and discard. Massage residual treatment into skin.
After a good use of 10 minutes or more, the patch starts to dry up. Remove them before the patches dry as they will add additional lines to your eyes.
This is how I place the eye patch on my under-eye area.
You can't really see immediate/ improved results from using the eye mask often which is kind of disappointing :(
I don't think I will repurchase this product in future since it is pricey, I feel that the eye serum is not moisturizing/hydrating enough and it did not produce the results that it claimed to provide.
Tell me do you use any eye mask/patch in addition to eye cream?
Lately I have been showered with gifts and goodies that I'm so excited to blog about! :)
Ecotools are very raved about in the makeup blog world as the affordable, high-quality and a plus, eco friendly brushes. I opt for the minerals brush set as I do have a lot of mineral makeups. But, I do not think they are not good for non-mineral products either.
I fell in love with the softness of the bristles the moment I touch the brushes. I haven't started using the brushes so I'm not gonna give a review just yet. At this moment, the brush that I totally attracts my attention is the eye shading brush. I think it is a perfect dupe of the MAC #224 Blending Brush which I have wanted for a long time but could not get it because it is a limited edition brush. Am I glad to get this brush set!

Next up, this single eyeshadow from NYX is a souvenir from my dear friends. She told us that this is the most talked about eye color from NYX, the 122 Morocco. The swatch is a pretty purple with blue sparkles which is suitable for a night time smoky look.
I have been trying out some new products lately. I've been wanting to get away from my regular skincare products and makeup routines, so these are the products I'm currently love to use!
It is good to rediscover that drugstore products sometimes works as good as high-end skincares. I'm currently switching between using my Dior Hydra Life Emulsion Serum (Youth Essential Hydrating Essense in Milk) and Simple Rich Moisturizer. I'm surprised to find this moisturizer to be rich, thick yet hydrating. I purchased this after finding that the Dior Hydra Life Emulsion Serum not working well enough to keep my skin hydrated during my trip in Europe :(
I also purchased the MAC Prep + Prime Face Protect with SPF 50/PA ++ which is a makeup base with UV protection. This is the product replacing my old sun block, the L'oreal Dermo Expertise UV Perfect SPF 50/PA +++ which proves to be not suitable for my oily skin. The MAC one has more matte finishing, lightweight and prime my skin from the sun. It is said to be oil-free, but I still feel it is slightly greasy like most sunscreen would do.
Moving on to makeup related products, I've been craving for a coral blush! Searching highs and lows but none of the blushes suit my liking till I found it from Majolica Majorca. I got the powder blush in OR211 which is in pretty coral orange-y color <3 <3 <3

Yippee! So happy today that I finally received my belated birthday presents from my dear girl friends after presenting a birthday voucher to them :P Wondering why i need a voucher to claim my present or why it took so long for them to give me a present? My present flew back all the way from US of A!
They bought me the infamous and often talked about in the makeup world, the Coastal Scents 88 Eyeshadow Palette. I just started to swatch a few of the colors in the pan, and I say I love the variety of colors! However there are some colors which are chalky and do not show up well when swatched but overall most shadows are pigmented so the quality is still acceptable. Nevertheless they are definitely worth the money at $18.95 now at Amazon.
I was attracted to the palette when i watched Michelle Phan utilizing the palette in some of her amazing makeup tutorials. Not all colors are matte finish, they're some with semi matte and satiny finish too...
The palette also comes with a mirror and two sponge applicators.

A glimpse of how my voucher looks like :P
Thank you girls! :D
